How to draw a Tiger

Hello Dear Viewers ^^

I hope you had a happy and wonderful Christmas \(^_^)/

I received a set of Lyra Polycrayons (some kind of soft & colorful pastel chalk or crayons) for Christmas and wanted to try them out so I made this drawing video of a Tiger.

The colors come out really bright and nice with these crayons so I might be making more drawing videos using this art material in the future.  Please look forward to them.

Random Talk: Lies Lies Lies

Dear World

How are you today? 

Today, I have a terrible headache because of the various issues which have been cropping up one after the other...

Have you ever been confronted to people who are lying to you....and you just can't tell who is telling the truth...because they are so talented at lying...

It's like being caught is a tug of war where both sides are pulling you towards them, telling you: It's not me! I would never do that!'

Although, you know one of them has to be the culprit...you just can't figure out who is the one lying to you...

Maybe in the end...both of them are lying to you...you never know...

The only way to find the truth is to investigate...but investigating takes a lot of energy and time...you end up getting more stressed out and tired because you have to search for the truth...and it is not easy to find when you have no proof...

It's surprising that despite the great advancement of humanity, we still do not have lie detectors which can ascertain with 100% accuracy if someone is lying or not...

I guess, humans are so much more advanced than machines...

This will be all for today...

To be honest, I'm not very good at drawing portraits...especially realistic ones...but somehow I have received a few requests for portrait drawing so I tried to make this video...However, I really tried but I still feel uncomfortable with drawing portraits so that's the best result I've been able to pull out...sorry to disappoint you guys & girls :(

Maybe with more practice I'll improve my portrait drawing skills but I don't really fancy drawing realistic people for the time being... ^^''

I also tried once again to make a tutorial video but I'm extremely bad at explaining how to draw...so again I'm really sorry :(

But I still hope you'll enjoy drawing like I do.

Mom's Recipe: Hakka-style Chicken in red wine

Hi Dear Viewers

I hope that you're all doing fine.
Today I want to share with you my mom's recipe for a traditional Chinese-Hakka dish called 'Chicken in red wine':

Hakka-Style Chicken in red wine

This recipe was actually requested by one of my acquaintances because she is going to give birth soon.  
In fact, in Chinese Hakka tradition, this recipe is known to be very good for women during their confinement period after giving birth.  
The reason behind this belief is because this dish can provide highly nutritious values which reinforce the woman's immune system, improve her blood circulation and restore her health.

So after noting down the instructions provided by my mom, I am sharing this traditional Hakka recipe with you.  
Note that the instructions given in this post follow a cooking for dummies style because I am very poor at cooking.  But I really hope that this post will be helpful to you.

Ingredients:

About 4 inches of Ginger

3 or 4 Pieces of Chicken Legs

1 handful of dried grain red yeast rice

1 Bottle (1L) of  Red rice wine

Cooking Steps:

1.  Chop the ginger into small pieces

2.  Cut the chicken legs into smaller pieces

3.  Fricassee the ginger (preferably without oil) in a wok on low heat

Note: According to my mom, oil / fatty foods are unhealthy for the baby of a breastfeeding woman, so I would recommend you not to add oil in this recipe

4.  Stir and turn the ginger so that it does not burn or stick on the sides of the wok

5.  When the ginger has turned golden in color, add the pieces of chicken to the ginger.

6.  Increase the heat, stir and turn the mixture until the chicken does not look raw / red anymore

7.  Add a small bowl of water to the mixture if you don't like your wine broth to be too sweet.

Note: If you prefer a really sweet wine taste, then no need to add water

8.  Depending on the amount of broth you want or the quantity of chicken used in this recipe, you can add the red wine accordingly.

Note: For instance if you used 4 chicken legs, then you can add 1 bottle (1L) of red rice wine.  But it is good to drink the wine broth while eating the chicken, so if you add too little wine, you won't have enough broth to accompany the chicken.  The amount of wine used in this recipe is up to your preferences.

9.  Cover the wok and allow the wine mixture to boil

10.  Lower the heat as soon as the broth is boiling

11.  Add about one handful of dried grain red yeast rice to the broth

12. Cover the wok again and allow the mixture to cook on low heat

13.  Turn off the heat when the chicken meat is sufficiently tender to eat

Note: There is no need to add salt because it is a sweet dish.
There is also no need to add sugar because the wine is sufficiently sweet

14.  This dish is best served hot

How to draw Bloom from Winx Club S6 (Bloomix)

Hi Everyone

I am back with a drawing video of pretty fairy girl Bloom from the animated cartoon Winx Club.  I think Bloom in her Bloomix transformation looks so pretty and cool that I could not resist the urge to draw her.  Although I wanted to, I could not find the time to color the drawing so this video is only about drawing Bloom.

Still, I hope you like this video despite its various flaws ^^''  I mean...sorry about my hair moving into the camera frame at some points in the video, I know it's distracting, I'm really sorry about that...but unfortunately I didn't notice it while I was drawing.  I'll remember to tie up my hair next time that I film a drawing video ^^'' so that it does not obstruct the camera's view.

How's your 'Work Life'?

Hello World

It's been quite a while since I last wrote something for my blog.
Well I am back with this topic called 'Work Life'
The majority of people on Earth need to work to make a living.  But how do you find your work life experience?  Is it enjoyable? Is it stressful? Is it hateful? Is it boring? Is it tiring? Is it exciting?
There are so many expressions which can be used to describe your work life.
Still, the feeling about work might be different depending on the situation or event or environment or other external/internal factors.
Many times, we might feel like our work life is testing our patience especially when it is a job that you don't really enjoy...
You know that you don't really like your job when you feel like there are other things you would rather do than this work...
I wonder if it is the same for everyone...?
How many rare cases exist of people who enjoy their work?
The answer is probably: 'either you are a millionaire / billionaire / royalty or working in your dream job'.
Many people nowadays don't even know what career they want for themselves and study various fields and finally end up doing something completely different from what they studied for and feel unhappy in their job.
Maybe, it's always been like this and people don't really know what job they want for themselves...
It's not like it's written in your DNA that you should go for this or that career.
...seriously, looking for the job of your dream is like asking yourself what should I do with my life!?
What's our goal for living?
Our life might seem short but at the same time long...I mean it seems long when we feel like we are doing the same boring or uninteresting thing everyday and it might seem short when we are in a rush or when we are doing things we enjoy and which end too soon according to us.
But time does seem to go by too fast...If you look at life in a pessimistic or less optimistic way, you'll see that each birthday which passes reminds you that you are nearing the end...
So what should we do to make this life feel worthwhile!?
I don't know about you, but that's a big question I sometimes ask myself...
You know Van Gogh, the great artist whose need for self-actualization was so strong that he forgot about his fundamental physiological needs and only focused on his art which was the most crucial and important thing for him.
Well, Van Gogh's case might be too extreme of an example, but what I am trying to say is that Van Gogh's passion and reason to live was to paint.
But not everyone has a clear idea of their life goal.
Sure there are various life goals that our human society generalized for all but it's also due to our genetic drive to survive.  It is wired somewhere in our brain that we need to live and to do that we need to earn a living somehow...that's how the existence of a 'job' came about, I guess...-__-
So many of us are simply programmed to work although we don't like the job...we mainly work because it is a requirement and not a choice.
But the World of work is not easy at all...honestly I think it is so twisted, shrewd and nonsensical that it is somehow comparable to Alice's Wonderland.  The various things that happen at work often bring you to a momentary standstill to think 'How the heck did I land in a place/situation like this?'
There are so many times that we feel like quitting our job because we just can't take it anymore...but we still don't quit because there's that part of you which is scared that you won't survive if you lose this job...that little voice could it be fear or your survival instinct...?
Lol you might find my rambling strange and pointless but I'm just writing out some of my thoughts ^^'' and just reflect on them while writing...lol maybe I am a budding 'Philosopher' >_<
I want to write more, but I've got to go now.

I know this post does not really have a point or make sense, it's just a bunch of words brought together to form sentences which do not necessarily form a coherent article.  But maybe you can still find this post interesting to read ;P You might come up with different point of views while reading this post.

How to draw Sangoku - Dragon Ball GT

Hello ^^

This is my drawing video of kid Sangoku from the anime Dragon Ball GT.

Lol ^^'' I kind of messed up since I drew his head too high up on the page and part of his hair was cut off, but fear not, because I was able to find a solution to this problem.  You might find this lame but I glued a piece of paper just beneath his head and continued to draw his hair on that paper.  Hahaha sorry about that ^^'' It's my mistake for not judging the proportions well before drawing ^^''  I'll be more careful for my next drawing video.

If I have the time, I'll make more drawing videos of Dragon Ball characters  ^^ for e.g. like Trunks, Sangohan and grown up Sangoku.  Those characters look really cool and must be fun to draw :)

How to draw a Minion ^^

Hi there ^^

I am back with a drawing video of the popular yellow character 'Minion'. 

I had some troubles to complete this video because part of it went missing somehow when I was editing it. You'll probably notice that the drawing suddenly changes from black and white to yellow....actually this is because the part of the video where I'm coloring the Minion yellow is missing. Sorry about that, I tried to retrieve that missing part several times but failed. 

Also sorry about that bad habit I have of erasing the same line and drawing it again and again. It's really a bad habit I'm trying to overcome, so please bear with me :(

I don't know if you can learn to draw a Minion from watching this video but you can try to pause the video and draw each part little by little because after all each part adds up to form the whole.

If you like drawing, keep it up and draw as much as you want ^^

If you like to watch anime, I would recommend the anime 'Tokyo Ghoul'.  It can be quite intense & violent but the story and characters are quite interesting.

Unfortunately, due to my lack of time, I was unable to draw the other requests made.  I'm really sorry about that because I would have loved to draw more but I'm only able to draw when I have some free time, so I could only choose to draw one request.

If you would like to make drawing requests, please let me know in the comments section.  I'll select to draw the one with the most likes and if there aren't any likes, then I guess...I'll choose the one that piques my interest ^^''

Honestly, I think I made a mistake when drawing the character's iris too small.  Uta's eyes would have looked nicer with larger irises, but since I realized this only after inking his eyes...it was already too late ^^'' hehehe...it's too bad.  But we do learn from our mistakes ...so don't make the same mistake as me if you're drawing this character.

How to draw Animeboy: Izuru Hitachi from 'Majestic Prince'

Hi ^_^

Here's my new drawing video.  I chose to draw the main character 'Izuru Hitachi' from the anime 'Majestic Prince'.  I think it's a really good anime with cool visuals and a good story line.

I tried to make a drawing tutorial video but halfway through the beginning of filming this video I just could not concentrate on drawing while explaining...I'm sorry but I'm so not good at teaching how to draw... :(

The tips I can give you are the following:

1.  Drawing is about having good eye-hand-coordination, which means that you need to be able to match your hand movements on the paper with what you see/observe

2.  You need to draw what you see and not what you think you see

3.  Distinguish the lines and shapes in the drawing.  Concentrate on one line or shape at a time instead of seeing the whole picture...  Drawing is like assembling a puzzle; by adding up the small parts little by little you form the big picture.

4.   You need to use the comparative method to judge the distance between various parts of the drawing.  For example comparing the distance between different lines/shapes in the object can help you judge the approximate distance you should space your lines / shapes / points.

By the way, I forgot to press the record button when I first started drawing the right eye...that's why the video started with one eye already drawn...sorry about that ^^''

I think drawing is a good therapy to clear out your mind and forget about any stressful experiences or daily worries.

When I draw, I just concentrate on drawing so there are no distracting or aggravating thoughts weighing on my mind.

I hope you like to draw too :)

For me drawing is a hobby which helps me cut off from this crazy/hectic world  ^_^

Mini Story: The brave little Friends (English)

Hello

This video is a mini story I have written and drawn about 10 years ago for a 'children story book' drawing competition organised by Unesco.  I did not win any prize but I am glad for having participated in this international competition.  It was a good experience for me as a teenager.

Just like for the story of Ann Mei Mei, I wanted to make a short video to narrate this story.  However, I have to admit that I have lost about 5 pages for this story and one of them was damaged by water (i.e. the 4th frame in the video)...I really can't remember where I've kept those pages...

So I had to make the story with 5 pages missing, that's why part of the narration does not match the images...I'm really sorry about that...

Note: The background drawings and coloring in the story were done by my father who is a very creative & talented person :)  Happy Father's day !! Pa !! ^_^

Chinese Drama: 'Ming Yang Hua Gu' / 名扬花鼓 - Part 8

Hi  Dear Readers

Welcome back for a new recap of the Chinese drama 'Ming Yang Hua Gu'.  We have now reached episode 34 and the story has taken quite a dramatic turn with Hua Gu held in prison and to be executed soon upon the Emperor's orders.

After eating the food Ming Yang brought her, Hua Gu starts singing the Hua Gu song from her childhood.

As the Emperor is having a walk in the palace garden at night, he hears Hua Gu singing the song.

Looks like he also knows that song too as it stirs up past memories of him when he was a poor kid wandering the streets looking for food.

After singing the song, Hua Gu tells Ming Yang that she will be leaving him soon so forget all about her in the future to live happily after.

Hua Gu tells him that if he meets a nice girl later, he should marry her and give birth to a bunch of kids.

Ming Yang then grabs hold of her hands slowly and tells her that he knows that he loves her sincerely, so nobody can replace her in his heart.

Hua Gu tells him that he does not have to do such a thing.

Ming Yang gives her a gentle look and asks her to marry him XD (Me: Kkkyyyaaah so sweet & adorable ^^)

Hua Gu smiles sadly while shaking her head and tells him that she cannot...

She replies that she is going to be sentenced to death so she'll only give him a hard time.

Ming Yang tells her if she refuses to marry him then he'll be really having a hard time.

Ming Yang tells her that he doesn't want her to feel lonely and cry all by herself.


He wants her to know that he will always be there by her side to support her and that he will always remember her smile because he loves her.

Ming Yang asks her again to agree to marry him.

But Hua Gu shakes her head again and tells him that she'll be dying soon and might even have one day left to live so how can she marry him.

Ming Yang tells her again that she must accept his marriage proposal even if she is left with only one day or only a few moments.


Because then he will feel like she is still there besides him and he will be able to live on with the most beautiful memories of his life.  Once more Ming Yang asks Hua Gu to marry him.  
Hua Gu falls into his arms in tears again.
Ming Yang tells him not to cry because a marriage is a happy event.

The next day, Ming Yang, the King, Xiao Zhu and the Queen's brother meet the Emperor to decide the fate of Hua Gu.

Ming Yang requests the Emperor to give him half a year to continue investigating about the Princess' existence.

If he fails to bring any result from the investigation after half a year has passed, then the Emperor can decide about his fate.




Later, the Emperor goes for a walk in his garden in broad daylight and is suddenly attracted by a good smell.  By following the smell, the Emperor is brought to the room where Xiao Zhu and Qing Er are roasting sweet potatoes.

Qing Er acts insolently to the Emperor by saying what's so wrong about roasting sweet potatoes.

The Emperor is irritated by her insolent tone of voice and asks who she is.

Qing Er tells him that she is a friend of Hua Gu who is going to die soon and for whom it is useless to beg for mercy.

The Emperor asks in a surprised tone: 'Hua Gu likes eating sweet potatoes?'

Qing Er replies: Yes she does.

The Emperor tells her with sarcasm that cheap people like to eat cheap food.
Qing Er lashes at the Emperor and exclaims at him: 'So only poor people eat sweet potatoes!?'
The Emperor turns back to look at her with an angry expression and tells her: 'Aren't you scared that I sentence you to death on the spot!?'

Qing Er replies that it doesn't matter to her anyway because she has no parents and she has an incurable disease from which she'll be dying sooner or later.

Qing Er starts defending Hua Gu by telling the Emperor that Hua Gu has experienced many hardships since she was a child so she is stronger than anyone else.

Qing Er then smirks and tells the Emperor: 'In fact you grew up in the same conditions (as Hua Gu).


Hearing that, the Emperor is really furious and shouts out 'How dare you?!'
Every servant in the room and even Xiao Zhu fall to their knees hearing the Emperor's furious voice.
But Qing Er still does not back off and tells the Emperor that what she just said is true.
QIng Er adds that nobody can match up to Hua Gu who is sacrificing her life to save her mother's life.  After listening to her words, the Emperor leaves the room without saying a word.

The Emperor later orders the guards to bring Hua Gu to see him.

Hua Gu does not bother bowing down to salute the Emperor which irritates him.

He asks her how dare she not bow down to him.

Hua Gu replies that she is already sentenced to death so why would she bother bowing down; it's not as if bowing down would avoid her the death sentence.

 The Emperor then asks Hua Gu why doesn't she beg him to spare her life.

Hua Gu replies: 'If by begging you, you'll spare me then you being the Emperor would be a farce.

The Emperor asks her: 'Then why do you think I called you here for?'

Looking at the table full of various dishes, Hua Gu replies: 'To eat'

The Emperor asks her: 'Is the answer that easy?'

Hua Gu responds with: 'If there are things you don't understand, then no need to think about it.  For things that do not require thinking, then no need to think.  A person living like that will be happier.'

(Me: I like this quote of hers...it sounds so easygoing and light...just like a 'no pressure' tagline ^^)

The Emperor nods in agreement to her words, but tells her: 'Not everybody has the chance of not having to think' (He's referring to people like him)

Hua Gu replies: 'Then does that mean that you as the Emperor are not really living happily.'
The Emperor is left speechless and just tells Hua Gu to eat her fill while gesturing to the food on the table.
Hua Gu looks at the dishes on the table and immediately grabs the roasted sweet potatoes.
The Emperor tells Hua Gu that it is Qing Er who told hiim she likes sweet potatoes.
Hua Gu feels happy that QIng Er remembered that her favorite food is sweet potatoes.
She breaks a sweet potato in two and gives one half to the Emperor to eat.
The Emperor tells her that it's been a really long time since he last ate sweet potatoes.
Hua Gu tells her about the time when she was living with the theatrical troop, she was too poor to buy food so she stole sweet potatoes to roast them.
Hua Gu says it's a memory which can't be forgotten.

The Emperor also gets flashbacks of his childhood when he was so poor he had to steal sweet potatoes to eat and the villager would chase after him for stealing the sweet potatoes.

Me: Looks like the Emperor was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth...

The Emperor almost chokes while eating his sweet potato while reminiscing about his poor childhood.

Hua Gu pats his back to help him swallow better and tells him eat slowly.

The Emperor tells her that he's fine.

Hua Gu stares at the Emperor for a few seconds and thinks to herself: 'In fact, Grandpa is just an ordinary old man.'

The Emperor asks her what's wrong and if she has something to say just say it loud.

Hua Gu replies that old people should eat more slowly or else they risk choking.

Hearing that the Emperor thinks that Hua Gu is actually a kind girl.
The Emperor then asks Hua Gu to perform the Hua Gu dance with Qing Er for him.
Hua Gu agrees enthusiastically.

The next day, Xiao Zhu tells Hua Gu & Qing Er if they have understood the Emperor's intention in asking them to perform the Hua Gu dance.

Xiao Zhu tells them that if they perform well, he is sure that the Emperor will remove the death sentence on Hua Gu.

Both girls are surprised upon hearing that possibility.

Ming Yang tells them to just perform well to make the Emperor happy which is a good thing too.

Hua Gu also agrees with Ming Yang as she does not expect much.  She was just thinking about giving a good performance to make the Emperor happy.

But Hua Gu is worried that Qing Er will not be able to perform the Hua Gu dance which requires quite some energy to complete.  But Qing Er replies that she'll be fine and that she really wants to perform well to help Hua Gu get on the Emperor's good side.

As the performance starts, the Emperor smiles happily.

Watching them perform, brings back past memories of his childhood of when he was a poor kid wandering the streets to watch artists perform the Hua Gu dance.

Back then, the Emperor was mistreated by the villagers who would just push him violently aside to prevent him from watching the Hua Gu dance.

Me:  I kinda feel sad for the Emperor, his childhood was quite sad & lonely...
But because he really wanted to watch the Hua Gu dance, he still pushed his way through the crowd to get a good view of the dancers.  Just watching the Hua Gu dance would make him happy when he was a child.

Coming back to the reality, the Emperor watches in delight as Qing Er and Hua Gu perform some difficult dance moves just before completing the performance.

The Emperor claps happily after Hua Gu and Qing Er complete their wonderful performance.

Suddenly, the Emperor feels in pain and almost falls over but the two girls come to support him.

The servant is alarmed and tells the Emperor that he is sorry for not paying enough attention.

But the Emperor smiles and says he's alright.
He also tells Hua Gu that she danced very well which make the both of them smile as they head back inside.

The next day, the Emperor holds a meeting with his subjects to make an announcement.

Xiao Zhu and Ming Yang are in high spirits as they believe that the Emperor will feel lenient towards Hua Gu and spare her life after having watched her perform the Hua Gu dance.

However, the Emperor does not attend the meeting and instead sends his messenger to make his announcement.

The announcement states that on the 15th of the next month, Hua Gu will still be sentenced and the King (i.e, the Emperor's son) will be punished as well (sorry I didn't understand what his punishment consists of because the Chinese words used were too difficult for me to understand...sorry my mandarin is not that high level ^^'' )

Both Xiao Zhu and Ming Yang are shocked and disappointed upon hearing the bad news.

I think the King has also received the death sentence as Hua Gu's evil uncle from her mother's side tells the King that he must celebrate since the Emperor gave him the death sentence.

The King goes to visit his father the Emperor but the latter refuses to see him by giving the excuse that he is tired and feeling unwell.

Me: I don't understand what's going on in the emperor's head...maybe he is planning something to save Hua Gu and his son without the enemy knowing or...he is really planning to have his only two genuine successors sentenced to death for some insane reason...

This is the end of this episode.

Moving on to Episode 35,

The King (also known as Yan Wang) is really furious after being refused a visit to his own father.
The King thinks back to a conversation he had with the Emperor (his father).
He was telling the latter that he could not understand why although his eldest brother had died, he had decided to give the throne to his grandson instead of him who is his second son and his next successor in line.

The Emperor tells Yan Wang that he knows he really wants to be on the throne and allows him to take a seat on it for a while.

Coming back to reality, Yan Wang heads towards the throne while telling himself that the one who deserves to take the throne is him and not that fake grandson.

Yan Wang adds that he cannot bear it anymore.

In the next scene, we move on to Hua Gu being brought to meet the Emperor.

Hua Gu looks angrily at the Emperor and does not bow down to him.  The Emperor asks every guards and servants to leave the room.  Once alone with Hua Gu, he tells her: 'Do you think that you could make me change my decision just by performing the Hua Gu dance? Wasn't it you who said that if I changed my decision that easily, I would just become a farce.'

Hua Gu replies that she did not expect him to change his decision and of she has to die, she'll die.

She also adds that since she has only 1 month left to live then she does not have much time to waste because there are still many things she wants to do.

The Emperor asks her what are the things she wants to do.

Hua Gu tells him that it's none of his business.

The Emperor tells Hua Gu that if she doesn't tell him then he will not be able to let her out to do the last things she wants to do.

Hua Gu asks him if he is not worried that she will run away if he lets her out.

The Emperor replies that if she wanted to run away, she would have long ago.

The Emperor gives Hua Gu a golden badge which is like a pass which will allow her to enter and leave the palace freely.

He also tells her to prepare for her marriage with Ming Yang during that 1 month she is left with to live.

Me: Oh so he knows Hua Gu and Ming Yang are a couple...hum...I think the Emperor is planning to let Hua Gu escape somehow...coz he's being so nice to her...we'll just see how it turns out ^^

This is today's date.  Honestly, I have put this drama review on hold for quite long because I simply could not find the time to continue watching it and now I have somehow lost track of what happened so far in the story.  I'm really sorry towards fans of this drama and people who have recently discovered this historical drama.
This review has remained in my draft list for so long and I think that I should just post it today.   I apologize but I don't think I'll be continuing the review for this drama.  I'm sorry for the abrupt end of the review but I hope that you can still watch the drama on Tudou or Youku or CCTV.

Making of 'LUCK' Part 2 How to draw a coin flick and a street boy

Hello to the World


How are you doing today?
My day was not to good today because some things happened which gave me a bad mood...
I was a little pissed off and irritated today but I still had to keep a calm composure despite the storm which was raging inside me...I wonder where I gathered the patience to do that ^^'' Lol
Sometimes, it's better to bottle it in and keep your annoyance to yourself because people just don't understand...speaking up your feelings out loud can turn the situation worse than before...that's what I have learnt from experience so you just have to restrain your feelings...

Of course I admit that keeping everything bottled up inside will inevitably lead you to a break down whereby you might just cry out loud, unable to express yourself anymore because of all the hurt which had accumulated inside and because absolutely nobody will understand your pain... :(

When those times happen well I guess your close ones will feel hurt because they love you and want to help you out but just don't know how to...so you need to stay strong for those same people who dearly and sincerely love you.

Hello dear Viewers

I am back with my 2nd mini story video.
I hope you like it and don't find it too boring ^^''
I actually came up with this short story while I was eating breakfast one day.  Don't ask me where the inspiration came from...I don't know...some random stories just crop up in my mind sometimes ^^'' Lol  Some stories I come up with don't really make sense...maybe they only make sense to me ^^'' hahaha

There are other stories which I have written down as well...hopefully I'll find the time to draw and make videos for those stories too...

Making videos for stories take much more time than simply making a drawing video.  Because creating a story video includes several steps:

1)  Writing the story
2)  Story boarding & drawing the frames
3)  Recording the narration
4)  Synchronizing the narration with the frames
5)  Editing

This video has very simplistic visuals but I have to admit that it took me some time to make ^^''  Still, I enjoyed making this video.  Hopefully, my videos will improve with time ^^

By the way, I don't know your opinion about 'Luck' but I guess this video represents how I perceive it.  You'll probably think that my point of view is cynical and pessimistic but you'll have to admit that in many situations 'Luck' will definitely not appear to help the people in need.  Maybe I was in cynical mood on the day when I came up with this story ^^''

Narrated Mini Story of Ann Mei Mei - The World is mine

I have been looking for my old drawings lately and I found this set of 10 pages of illustrations which I had made about 10 years ago for a story book drawing competition.

The story is extremely simple and random...but still for the sake of sharing the pretty drawings, I''ve decided to make a mini narrated video for this story.

I hope you like it.
I also went to the trouble to write the English subs for this video in case my voice was unclear or was too low at some points in the video.

Captain abandoning the ship

Hi World

How have you been lately?
I hope that you've been doing fine.

Well today I feel like a bombshell was dropped on my desk and I could not do anything to stop it from exploding.
The bombshell I'm referring to is my boss telling my team and myself that she is leaving us and the ship in a month.
Until the higher-ups can find a replacement for my direct boss, well, I'll have to manage the team and the ship on my own.

Right now, I feel like I'm in the shoes of a newbie sailor and the captain has suddenly decided to leave the ship in the hands of that sailor.
A ship controlled by a sailor...won't that lead to a shipwreck...I fear the days to come...will the sailor manage to survive the tempest.
Can the team and the passengers count on that sailor or will the team just slack off because the captain won't be here anymore to reprimand them.
How many complaints will the passengers make to the sailor when the captain is gone?
The passengers and crew will probably not understand the situation in which the sailor is in and might just add in more pressure on that sailor.
Pitiful sailor...
When will a new captain come on board to turn the sails in the right direction?
Will the sailor manage to hold on until then?
Or will all the responsibility and pressure just be left on the shoulders of that tiny sailor...?
I feel like the sleepless nights and dark under-eye circles are going to return soon... TT___TT

Wish me lots of luck and courage because I'll be needing it for the days to come.

But on the other hand, this is not the end of the world so I must still cheer up and look on the bright side...although I can't see much brightness right now...sighs...
