Coming back to Park Hoon, he is still thinking about Jae Hee and imagining that she was happily living with him.
Then, the character played by Kang Sora is introduced to us as Oh Soo Hyun, the daughter of the 'Myung Woo University hospital' director. Except that Oh Soo Hyun is a concubine's daughter and is ostracized by her step-mother and half-brother.

Switching back to Park Hoon; he has to run an errand for his friend by delivering drinking water to Myung Woo University Hospital. There he meets the little girl to whom he gave first aid for her fractured finger. That hospital is a maze (Lol) as Hoon gets lost trying to help the little girl and her father find the X-ray room. Lol when they finally find the X-ray department, their reaction is so epic, as if they won the lottery or something ^^
Meanwhile, the doctors are busy receiving patients from a bus accident for emergency treatments. In the midst of doctors and nurses rushing by to care for the injured patients, Hoon notices the little girl trying to stop a doctor to check up her father who is having breathing difficulties. Finally, since nobody is paying attention to her, the little girl screams to attract someone's attention for help. Oh Soo Hyun goes to the little girl thinking that she is the one needing a checkup but realizes that it is the father who needs to be examined.
Frustrated by hearing Oh Soo Hyun's diagnostic, Hoon moves beside them and ask 'What about his heart?'
But Oh Soo Hyun is too busy and asks a colleague to take care of the patient.
Hoon accompanies them to the X-ray dept again and suddenly the patient collapses in the elevator. The patient has stopped breathing. Panicked, the doctor runs for help while Hoon examines the patient on his own and realizes that he is having a cardiac arrest.
Hoon tells the doctor who is back to start the massage on the patient and to bring the defibrillator but the doctor just stares at him blankly and asks 'What massage?'
Out of patience, Hoon shouts at the incompetent doctor: 'Are you a doctor or a hack?!' start the CPR!!
Me: 'Come on is that doctor an intern or what?! even interns in the drama 'Emergency Couple' make faster diagnosis and react faster to save the patient. Are all the doctors in this drama quacks except for Hoon?'
Sighs.... After Hoon's rapid intervention, they manage to get the patient's heart beating again. Hoon orders the doctor to get the patient ready for a heart surgery. The doctor tries to reach the specialist i.e. Dr Han but the latter decides to take care of another surgery first. Unfortunately, the patient cannot wait long as a second cardiac arrest would be fatal. Dr Han is unreachable and the other specialist Dr Moon refuses to perform the surgery.
The little girl asks Hoon if he can perform the surgery but Hoon hesitates saying he might lose his license (He probably does not have a doctor's license to practice in S.Korea...but still he is the best thoraxic surgeon from North Korea). Thinking that he is a doctor as well, Hoon accepts to do the surgery for the little girl.
He goes in the operation room dressed as a doctor, his face hidden by the binoculars and face mask. At first the assisting doctors think he is Dr Han but then they realize he is not; but it's too late, Hoon has already began the operation under the watchful eyes of Dr Moon.
Dr Oh Soo Hyun joins the operation room and asks Hoon who he is? But Hoon refuses to reveal his name saying he is a doctor and tells her to get out of the way. Oh Soo Hyun goes out to call for security guards but when she returns back the surgery is already completed and Hoon is out of sight.
Now I understand why the title of the drama is 'Doctor Stranger'. ^^ Lol that's witty. I wonder how long Hoon will be able to keep his identity hidden. Ah not very long I guess, as Oh Soo Hyun catches up to him scolding him for having done a surgery when he is not a doctor. Hoon replies that he is a doctor.
Suddenly the patient's heart rate falls, not knowing what to do the doctors call Oh Soo Hyun , telling her the symptoms. Soo Hyun immediately orders the guards to call the police to get Hoon but Hoon guesses the symptoms and requests to administrate magnesium to the patient which is exactly what Dr Han tells the doctors to do on the other end of the line. Oh Soo Hyun glares as Hoon who covers his cheeks scared that she will slap him again (Lol reminds me of Hye Sung in 'I hear your voice', she also covered her cheeks when she was scared of being slapped by Seo Do Hyun).
Dr Han lets Hoon go because he saved the patient and if words went out to the public, they would think that the hospital is short of competent doctors. Hoon leaves the hospital while being chased after by Dr Moon.
Meanwhile, still in the hospital, a female doctor who looks like Jae Hee passes by Lee hang Yi (Park Hoon's friend). Chang Yi informs Hoon about the person she saw who looks like Jae Hee. Hoon immediately informs Dr Moon that he has to go to the hospital.
Later we see that mysterious female doctor giving her bracelet to a patient. It's actually the bracelet that Hoon gave to Jae Hee, meaning that she is really Jae Hee.
Hoon comes rushing to the hospital looking for Dr Song Jae Hee but finds another woman with that name. Hoon thinks that Chang Yi saw the wrong person. Just as he turns around to leave he gets a glance of the woman who looks like Jae Hee and runs after her again.
The episode ends here.
What will happen next?!
This drama is becoming more and more interesting. The pace is just right; not too fast that you get confused and not too slow to bore you. Most of my guesses are turning out wrong so it's difficult to predict what will happen next. Therefore, the story is really original and captivating.
