However, Dr Yang was bribed by the director to tamper with the bone drill instrument which causes the blade to come off and cut Park Hoon's hand. Nurse Min suspects that Dr Yang is the culprit.
Park Hoon has to dress his wound before he can continue with the surgery.
Nurse can't take it anymore and orders Dr Yang who is in fact her husband to leave the operation room.
However, they need to find another first assistant now but all the doctors are taken for other surgeries. Park Hoon has no other option but to ask help from Han Jae Joon but the latter is unwilling to help him and only offers to assign Kim Chi Gyu to assist Hoon's team. Oh Soo Hyun knows that Kim Chi Gyu is not competent enough to be a first assistant.
(Me: Damn this competition is going way overboard...As a real doctor, the patient should come in priority instead of the match. That Myung Woo director and Han Jae Joon really suck. I hope Myung Woo crumples to the ground. What patient would want to put their life in the hand of such a hospital and irresponsible doctors.)
Finally Soo Hyun tells Han Jae Joon that she has to go to Park Hoon's team to help him because there is no way that Kim Chi Gyu can be of much help. Han Jae Joon tells her not to go because she is only being attracted to new things (meaning Park Hoon) temporarily.
(Me: come on! is your jealousy that important right now! Darn you Han Jae Joon!! There's a life on the line here! Any decent doctor would want to help Park Hoon to save his patient. You have a handful of doctors to assist you while Park Hoon has only 1 nurse and 1 anaesthesiologist on his team. what!? You still can't allow Soo Hyun to go help Hoon!? Even if you hate Park Hoon because you have a misunderstanding concerning Park Cheol, you shouldn't risk a patient's life by refusing to provide good assistance!)
Oh Soo Hyun doesn't care about Han Jae Joon's words and moves to Park Hoon's team. (Me: Good choice Soo Hyun!!)
Because of his injury, Park Hoon asks Soo Hyun to switch places with him so that he can use his left hand to operate the patient.
All the doctors watching the surgery are doubtful as to whether Park Hoon can complete the surgery with his left hand.
On the other hand, Han Jae Joon's team complete their surgery first with a successful heart transplant (Me: It looks freaky how the heart they transplanted starts beating and pumping blood)
Returning back to Park Hoon, his surgery is also completed; all that is left to do is reanimate the heart with an electric shock. But after several trials, the heart still does not beat...it is only after the fourth trial that the heart starts beating slowly. (Me: Oh my gosh....sighs...the patient is saved) Everyone watching Park Hoon's surgery heaves a sigh of relief. Although it is a tie, I think Park Hoon deserves more merit than Han Jae Joon in this match especially with the difficulties inflicted on him.
Park Hoon goes around to hug his team members to thank them for their hard work (Me: I like the ost playing in the background here...I'll have to look for it later ^^)
When it is finally Oh Soo Hyun's turn to be hugged, she can't help but hug Hoon tightly. But Hoon has to move away rapidly because Jae Hee is watching.
Park Hoon tells the patient's family that the latter will need to sleep for several days to recuperate from the surgery.
Later the director plans something with his son to hurt Park Hoon. The director's son tells the patient's relative that Park Hoon performed an outdated surgery instead of the surgery which he originally planned. But he doesn't inform her that the patient had blood coagulation defect which rendered the initially planned surgery impossible.
Soo Hyun's brother manipulates the truth so that the patient's wife has a bad opinion of Park Hoon and loses trust in him.
The patient's wife immediately rushes to insult Park Hoon and force him to wake up her husband to prove that he is really cured. But Park Hoon refuses because he knows that the patient needs time to recover and prefers to wait.
Han Jae Joon tells Soo Hyun that she should forget about Park Hoon because his heart belongs to Jae Hee. But Soo Hyun tells him that she can't because Park Hoon keeps on creeping in her mind and she even cries because she knows that she can't have Hoon's heart. Soo Hyun tells Han Jae Joon to let her go and get over her soon.
The patient's relative is still furious at Park Hoon and orders him to wake up her husband. But still Park Hoon refuses because he knows it is too soon. Park Hoon is thus sent in front of a disciplinary committee where he is interrogated by several doctors.
The argument between Park Hoon and Han Jae Joon builds up.
Han Jae Joon tells Park Hoon that if the patient does not wake up in two days then not only will he have lost the competition but he will also become a murderer. (Me: Lol I was thinking then in that case Park Hoon would need an excellent lawyer like lawyer Cha or lawyer Jang from the drama 'I hear your voice' in which Lee Jong Suk starred as Park Soo Ha ^^)
Park Hoon begs Han Jae Joon to give him two more days before waking the patient up. But Han Jae Joon refuses.
Suddenly there is a code blue alert. Oh Soo Hyun tries to reanimate the patient after a few tries. The reason is because Soo Hyun tried to wake up the patient and he went into cardiac arrest.
The patient's wife gets angry at Park Hoon and scolds him. But Soo Hyun tells the wife flatly that these problems are common after heart surgeries and that they are always up on their feet to face any issues. Park Hoon tells Soo Hyun to stop arguing with the patient's wife and drags her away.
Park Hoon scolds Soo Hyun for almost killing the patient by trying to wake him up. But Soo Hyun tells him that she woke him up because she trusts that Park Hoon's surgery was successful.
Park Hoon asks her again why she did it and who does she think she is for doing that.
Soo Hyun finally confesses that she likes him and tells him not to ask her to stop feeling that way because she tried but she can't.
Soo Hyun asks him if it is because of Jae Hee that he can't like her.
But Park Hoon tells her that it is her father Oh Joon Kyu who had made a plan with Jang Suk Joo to send his father Park Cheol to North Korea.
Soo Hyun doesn't understand so Park Hoon tells her that Oh Joon Kyu was the one who sent Park Cheol to North Korea because he wanted to get rid of him as a witness to the medical accident at Myung Woo.
Park Hoon tells her that now she knows, she should get her thoughts straight.
Soo Hyun immediately rushes to her father to ask him if it is true. Her father admits that it is true and that he did it to protect Myung Woo. Soo Hyun falls to her knees crying after hearing the news because she doesn't know how to face Park Hoon anymore.
The next day, Jang Suk Joo decides that if the patient does not wake up then Park Hoon will have lost the competition but if the patient does wake up then it will be a draw.
They finally decide to attempt to wake the patient up after Jae Hee convinces Park Hoon that the patient's vitals are stable. The patient wakes up and seems fine.
This means that the competition between Hoon and Han Jae Joon has reached a tie.
Hearing that Soo Hyun has taken time off because she is unwell, Han Jae Joon rushes to see her.
Han Jae Joon asks Soo Hyun why she is like this...
Soo Hyun tells him that she is feeling so hurt because after telling Hoon that she likes him, Hoon told her that they could never be together.
Soo Hyun cries in Han Jae Joon's arms.
Han Jae Joon later tells Kim Chi Gyu that after seeing his princess cry because she has been dumped by another knight, he feels sorrow for her instead of being upset.
Kim Chi Gyu tells Han Jae Joon that what he is feeling for the princess must be real love.
After calming down, Soo Hyun decides to visit Park Hoon's hospital. There she stumbles upon pictures of Han Seung Hee and Park Hoon together.
Soo Hyun finally realizes that Han Seung Hee is really Jae Hee. The episode ends here as Soo Hyun finds both Seung Hee and Park Hoon standing in front of her.
Note: I know that Park Hoon doesn't have anything precious in his hospital but still he should lock the door before leaving ^^''
Anyway I still don't like the Jae Hee and Park Hoon pairing....Jae Hee just doesn't give off a good vibe...I don't like her character...it lacks depth...
