Episode 16
Hua Gu tricks Ming Yang & Qing Er to believe that the girl called Hua Gu is dead and even takes them to visit her grave which is in reality a stranger's grave. Hahaha Hua Gu is such a con-artist XD
However, the smooth running of her plan is interrupted as the relative of the person whose grave they were visiting came to pay her respects. Hua Gu does not give up on her lie and continues to deceive Ming Yang & Qing Er by inventing a story which turns the innocent relative into a culprit who caused Hua Gu's death. XD lol
However as the relative falls into the story invented by Hua Gu, she reveals that the person died at 36 years old which makes Ming Yang raise his eyebrows because Hua Gu was supposed to be much younger when she died i.e. currently she should be around the age of Qing Er which is much less than 30 yrs old.
Lol Hua Gu's plan has failed. I wonder what excuse she is going to make up now. Hua Gu immediately responds that she made a mistake and got the wrong person. However, Qing Er still wants to find Hua Gu. Qing Er is quite sick and I wonder if she will die in the series (I can't remember what happened to her character). Anyway, Qing Er does not really care if she is not the princess as she is just satisfied to spend time with the person she loves i,e, Ming Yang.
Qing Er is a kind character but her fate is so sad.
Unfortunately, Ming Yang does not have romantic feelings for Qing Er since he only considers her like his little sister.
Oh my gosh some of the fight scenes in Episode 17 between Lie Huo & Ming Yang are just so funny & unrealistic XD It's like they are trying to pull some sort of Matrix move ^^'' Still not bad for a Chinese drama, but they sure use a lot of special effects for the fight scenes.
Unfortunately during the fight, Lie Huo inflicts a cut on Ming Yang's back as the latter turned away to save Hua Gu from a fall.
Still both of them manage to run away from Lie Huo who felt a sudden chest pain from a previous injury.

But Ming Yang is overcome by the pain and has to stop to take a breath. Hua Gu then sees the blood on her hand and realises that it is from a cut on Ming Yang's back.
Hua Gu starts crying and pleads Ming Yang to stay alive and not to die.

Ming Yang tells her not to cry and takes out a handkerchief to wipe her tears away.
Aaawww this part is really cute XD
Ming Yang tells Hua Gu that when she cried last time, he didn't know what to do so he started to bring a handkerchief with him because he was worried that she would cry again.
Hua Gu somehow feels embarrassed & touched by his words.
Then the camera starts circling them while they stare at each other speechless XD Uuummm there is romance in the air!! XD
Hahaha!! looks like Ming Yang has started to see Hua Gu as a girl and Hua Gu is also touched by his actions.
To break the silence, Ming Yang tells Hua Gu to get him some water to drink. Hua Gu leaves immediately to look for water while Ming Yang stays still to try to recover from his wound.
Hua Gu returns with some herbs which she crushes with stones before applying same on Ming Yang's injury.
Ming Yang is surprised and finds it strange that a rich girl knows where to find medicinal herbs on the mountains to treat wounds.
Hua Gu replies that she learnt it from reading medicinal books but Ming Yang still doubts her.
Ming Yang is curious as to know why she is being nice to him. Hua Gu tells him it is because he saved her life from Lie Huo.
As it is getting late, they decide to make a move to return back home,
Hua Gu lends her shoulder to Ming Yang to support him as he walks. They walk together while chatting until they meet the king's soldiers who help Ming Yang. Both Ming Yang & Hua Gu look a little sad to separate.
Back home, Hua Gu keeps staring at Ming Yang's handkerchief which is clean now. Her servant Ma Zhu Guan comes to see her and they start talking about Ming Yang being a good person but always arguing with her each time they meet. Ma Zhu Guan tells Hua Gu that if she had to live with Ming Yang then it will be very hard on her as they would be arguing a lot.
But to Ma Zhu Guan's surprise, Hua Gu replies that she won't have a hard time with him because Ming Yang is quite a nice person.
Ma Zhu Guan teases Hua Gu by saying that yesterday's miss and today's miss are very different. Hua Gu replies that she is the same as yesterday. But Ma Zhu Guan tells her that appearance-wise she is the same but her heart has changed and asks her if the reason behind this change is Ming Yang?
Hua Gu smiles shyly and avoids the topic by telling Ma Zhu Guan that she is tired now and wants to rest.
Ohohoho Looks like the little chick has fallen in love with Ming Yang ^^
Episode 18:
But no matter what, Hua Gu still remains a sneaky person. She took the chance of visiting Ming Yang's house when he was absent to leave some medicine and his handkerchief in his room. She even folded the handkerchief into a cute bunny. XD ahaha
But just as she's leaving, Ming Yang arrives and sees her coming out of her room. But he doesn't get suspicious or annoyed like he would before. They just chit chat and mock each other in a more friendly way. Qing Er and Zhu Er didn't notice the change in their attitude towards each other and think that they are quarreling like usual. Zhu Er requests that the both of them to get along better and both Hua Gu & Ming Yang reply innocently that they will as a favor to Qing Er.

If you succeed in throwing the piece of cloth onto the tree then your wish will come true according to the legend.
Hua Gu and Qing Er are super excited about making their wishes while Ming Yang can't help but make fun of them for believing in such a thing.

Hua Gu tells Qing Er to just ignore the boys' comments and concentrate on making their wishes.
As I expected, Hua Gu wishes for Qing Er to healthy.
After making their wishes, both girls try to throw their piece of cloth onto the tree but in vain, the tree branches are too high and the fabric is too light to reach the tree.
Ming Yang & Ming Zhu Er approach them to lend a hand but the girls refuse their help because they have to do it themselves for the wish to come true.
After failing several times, Hua Gu decides to tie two small stones at both ends of the cloth to create more weight for the cloth when throwing it onto the tree.
Ming Yang recognises that Yun Yun (Hua Gu) is smart and Zhu Er agrees too while telling Ming Yang that lately if he doesn't see Yun Yun, he feels uneasy.
Ming Yang remains quiet after hearing his brother's words (probably feeling guilty for starting to like Yun Yun)
Hua Gu accidentally loses her jade bracelet after throwing the cloth up in the air. Ming Zhu Er immediately rushes to help her find her bracelet.
Suddenly Qing Er feels unwell and collapses on the ground. (I think she over-exerted herself from trying to throw that fabric onto the tree). They immediately take Qing Er back home to rest. Qing Er wakes up in sweat and tells Yun Yun that she had a nightmare in which the wishing tree moved away from her each time she was trying to throw the cloth on it. Qing Er thinks that this dream is a sign that her wish cannot become true. Yun Yun asks her what is her wish and Qing Er tells her that her wish is to find Hua Gu. Yun Yun lowers her eyes feeling guilty of not telling the truth to Qing Er that she is Hua Gu.
Ming Yang returns back to his room to find the medicine & handkerchief which Hua Gu left on his table.
He plays around with the handkerchief which Hua Gu folded into a little rabbit and tells himself that Yun Yun is cute some times and has a kind heart.
Then he remembers that Yun Yun lost her jade bracelet earlier.
Afterwards, we move to the scene where Hua Gu has returned to the Wishing Tree at night to wish again that Qing Er can regain a good health. Again Hua Gu tries to throw the cloth onto the tree but in vain. Hua Gu prays again to the Wishing Tree by telling it that she has grown up in harsh, difficult and poor times but she knew that one day she would be rewarded; however now she does not desire this reward or this happiness because all she wants is for Qing Er to regain her health.
Losing patience, Hua Gu grabs hold of the cloth and starts climbing the tree.
Hua Gu sits between the branches and throws the cloth onto a branch just beneath where she is sitting. This done, Hua Ga pats the tree and tells it to remember to make her wish come true. XD Hahaha how cute of her ^^
Just then, we see Ming Yang walking towards the tree. Hua Gu notices him and thinks to herself that he came to make a wish too despite making fun of them during the day.
However, Ming Yang is looking around for something on the ground.
Hua Gu finds it strange and wonders what he is looking for and continues to keep an eye on him without Ming Yang noticing.
After searching around for several minutes, Ming Yang discerns something circular in the grass and grabs hold of it.
Effectively it's Hua Gu's jade bracelet. He stares at it happily while Hau Gu smiles as she realizes that he was looking for the bracelet for her. XD

Just when Ming Yang was going to leave, a couple of leaves fall off from the tree making him lift his head up to find Hua Gu sitting up there.
Ming Yang is surprised to see her here and asks her what she is doing here. Hua Gu throws the question back at him and he answers uneasily that he came out for a walk.
He then asks Hua Gu if she is hurt anywhere and Hua Gu makes up the excuse that she twisted her ankle and tells Ming Yang to carry her back home.
Without any hesitation, Ming Yang agrees to carry her.
Hahaha what a sneaky girl XD Lol But go for it! I'm totally on your side XD Aigoo I can't help but smile at their cuteness ^^
Completely lost in staring at Ming Yang and smiling to herself, Hua Gu didn't even realize that they had already reached the doorsteps of her house.
(Lol I hope Hua Gu is not too heavy XD coz he has been carrying her for quite a while now. But she sure looks tiny in his arms ^^)
Hua Gu looks down in disappointment as Ming Yang tells her that they have reached her house.
Ming Yang asks her what is wrong. But Hua Gu just shakes her head slightly and asks him to put her down.
Ming Yang asks her if her leg is alright and if she wants him to accompany her into the house. (Aaawww how sweet !! XD If only boys could be that sweet in reality XD hahaha)
Hua Gu replies that there is no need and asks him if he forgot to give her something. Ming yang doesn't understand what she is talking about. Hua Gu teases him by asking if he is thinking of giving her jade bracelet to some other girl. Ming Yang returns the bracelet to her saying that he found it coincidentally during his walk (who are you kidding XD).
Ming Yang then asks her how she is going to thank him then takes out a handkerchief and asks her to fold another rabbit out of it. Hua Gu folds a turtle for him this time then strolls away happily. Seeing her walk away, Ming Yang calls her Yun Yun for the first time and asks her if her feet is alright. Hua Gu smiles shyly as she is caught red handed for tricking him (Lol Ming Yang is so gullible).
Hua Gu then tells him that she prefers that he calls her 'foolish girl' (Sha Ya Tou) like he usually does rather than call her Yun Yun. Ming Yang says alright and calls her 'Sha Ya Tou' (Lol they r funny)
Back in their respective rooms, they can't help but think about each other and smile foolishly XD (Lol two fools in love). Although they are in different locations, it's as if they are having a conversation with each other as there words seem to follow each other's words. XD
This episodes ends with a lovey dovey note. Aaahh they are in love with each other XD
