Drama review of Doctor Stranger Ep 10

Episode 10 begins with an alarming news that North Korea is going to conduct a nuclear test.
But Park Hoon and Jae Hee are undisturbed by the news and spend some sweet time together...
(Me: I seriously don't like this couple...if they are the main couple, this must be the first time I dislike the lead couple in a drama...)

I wonder why Park Hoon is being so oblivious as to ask why she persistently hid that she was Jae Hee since the beginning...  Come on there is still something fishy going on here...Park Hoon don't trust her so easily...there are still pieces of the puzzle missing...

At last Jae Hee asks Hoon why he didn't question why she said she was Han Seung Hee instead of Song Jae Hee.  However Hoon prefers not to know.

On Jae Joon's side, the hospital director has lost his trust in him since his failed surgery on the newborn baby. Jae Joon feels bitter to be treated badly by the director and thinks back to his past when his father had died after a surgery that Dr Choi had undertaken on him.  The director at that time said that they did their best and did not take any responsibility for the death of Jae Joon's father.  Young Jae Joon even went down on his knees begging the director to save his father... (I somehow feel empathy towards Jae Joon now because I now realize the reasons behind his desire for revenge; however it's strange how Park Hoon does not seek revenge unlike Jae Joon although Hoon has also been deeply hurt and betrayed by those same people as well; maybe because Hoon had a darker past hence he does not feel like seeking revenge when he knows that he himself had committed far worst sins in North Korea...)

However, Jae Joon's plan to take over Myung Woo hospital is a flop as the director wants to send him to the hospital's branch instead of keeping him at the headquarters.  Jae Joon blames it all on Park Hoon...but Soo Hyun takes the defense of Hoon saying that it's not Hoon's fault (I agree with Soo Hyun.  Han Jae Joon you can't blame Park Hoon for being a more skilled doctor than you)
Jae Joon is such a sore loser, he cannot digest his defeat against Park Hoon...
Oh Soo Hyun tells Jae Joon the reason he lost the competition was because he treated the surgery like a game which he wanted to win too much instead of really wanting to save the baby.  Soo Hyun is right when she tells Jae Joon that he is the one acting like a fake doctor who has been defeated by a real doctor (i.e. Park Hoon).
Soo Hyun feels angry at Jae Joon and leaves the hospital confused by her own feelings to go looking for Park Hoon (I think that she really started developing feelings for Park Hoon...but what to do (Otokke?!) Park Hoon is back with Jae Hee...)

I think Kang Sora did a really good job in her acting as Oh Soo Hyun :)

Anyway, Park Hoon sends a message to Chang Yi telling her thank you for everything...as if he is saying his farewell...
Chang Yi rushes to Park Hoon's hospital to look for him there, but only finds Soo Hyun.

Park Hoon has taken Jae Hee to the sea port...
Park Hoon wants to take Jae Hee and escape on board a ship leaving South Korea...but to go where I wonder...
However, the tyrant finds them before they escape and traps them (it's a deja vu...looks like if Park Hoon remains with Jae Hee, he'll forever try to escape from the tyrant (Cha Jin Soo - I know his name now ^^'')

The situation has turned really critical now, as Park Hoon has been captured back to North Korea by the tyrant while trying to escape with Jae Hee.
(Me: Darn that idiot Park Hoon, why do you have to be with Jae Hee so much, that woman is only going to cause your lost....)
Cha Jin soo starts beating up Jae Hee in front of Park Hoon who is tied up on a chair...
(I think it's Park Hoon fault for trying to escape...they would have been safer in South Korea...)
Continuing with the drama, Cha Jin Soo blackmails Park Hoon to do Jang Suk Joo's surgery or else they will hurt Jae Hee.... (Hum... I think this whole thing looks like it's been staged up to threaten Park Hoon so that they can get him to do whatever they want...and I think Jae Hee has also been faking it to trick Park Hoon....Are they really in North Korea....or is it just another set up)

Cha Jin Soo injects some solution into Park Hoon which make him lose consciousness.
Ha!! Just as I thought, Jae Hee was only acting as Cha Jin Soo thanks her for going along with the set up to blackmail Park Hoon.

Me:  Oh I'm starting to understand Cha Jin Soo's intent after hearing what he just said.
In private, Cha Jin Soo told Jang Suk Joo's bodyguard: ''Don't you think we've learnt a valuable lesson here? We confirmed what Song Jae Hee is to him (Park Hoon).  It means we can do whatever we want with the heart he'll be operating on."
Me: I think that maybe Cha Jin Soo's plan (i.e. his mission from N.Korea) is to murder the Premier Jang Suk Joo...  (I mean what's the utility of keeping the guy alive for N.Korea...however, this theory is disputable because what's the utility of killing him as well and why would Cha Jin Soo go to such length to kill Jang Suk Joo when he could have a sniper or assassin kill him easily)  And Jang Suk Joo's bodyguard might not be that loyal to him...
Anyway these are all just suppositions, the story plot might take a different turn to what I thought...we'll just have to watch and see...

Coming back to the drama, the premier is discussing with the President to give the money to the North Koreans so that they don't go ahead with their nuclear testing plan.  However the President refuses saying that this money can be used to feed the country's poor children for 10 years.  (Me: Knowing Jang Suk Joo, it's probably a scheme where he can also touch a large sum of money by making this bargain with N.Korea)

Jang Suk Joo is enjoying it knowing that this dilemma can hurt the President's popularity among the people.
Jang Suk Joo thinks that anything can be done with money and that South Korea needs a leader like him who would resolve everything with money.

Desperate to complete his vengeance plan, Han Jae Joon goes to meet with the Premier.

On the other hand, Park Hoon is sent back to South Korea.  As soon as he wakes up he looks for Jae Hee.  Just then, Oh Soo Hyun calls Park Hoon telling him to come to the party where everyone is waiting for him.  Park Hoon immediately asks if Han Seung Hee is there too. Soo Hyun looks around to find Han Seung Hee and tells Park Hoon she is there.
Of course, as soon as he hears that Jae Hee is there, Park Hoon rushes there.  Chang Yi doesn't leave him off the hook though, reminding him that Jae Hee is a spy for that government.  But Park Hoon is too blinded by his love for Jae Hee and doesn't want to listen to Chang Yi's words.
(Park Hoon feelings for Jae Hee remind me of Kim Tak Goo's feelings for Shin Yoo Kyung in Baker king)

Park Hoon doesn't want to hear anymore of Chang Yi's words and tells her he doesn't want to see her ever again.  Poor Chang Yi (I totally agree with what you said, it's only that Park Hoon has really lost it because of that manipulative Jae Hee... I hope that he realizes his error soon)

Returning back to Han Jae Joon, the Premier refuses to give him a second chance but Han Jae Joon insinuates that he knows that that he is the one who convinced the director to hire back Park Hoon after he was fired.
Later the bodyguard comes back to see the Premier and tells him Han Jae Joon's real identity i.e Lee Sung Hoon the boy whose parents died because of the medical accident at Myung Woo hospital.

Coming back to Park Hoon, he arrives at the party and drags out Jae Hee and tells her to leave with him immediately.  Jae Hee refuses telling him that they will find them anywhere they go.  (I think that Jae Hee is the one who will be informing them about there whereabouts because she is a spy too)
Park Hoon proposes to go to the police but Jae Hee refuses telling him that the Premier is on the tyrant's side.
Park Hoon is finally persuaded not to try to escape again after Jae Hee breaks into tears telling him that she doesn't want to be apart from him again.  (I wonder how true are her words...)

Jae Joon goes to see the director and pleads him to let him return back to Myung Woo hospital's headquarters but the director refuses.
However with a phone call from the Premier, the director is persuaded to hire back Han Jae Joon.

Lol what kind of party is that, everybody is sort of depressed except for Dr Moon.  Although Park Hoon and Soo Hyun are singing to Wonder Girls' Tell me, they are just singing for the sake of forgetting their sorrows.

This episode ends with Han Jae Joon throwing away his pride to plead desperately with the director to let him return back to Myung Woo Hospital.
