Drama review of Doctor Stranger Ep 13

This episodes starts with the operation scene when Park Hoon joins the team for the surgery.
However the team is met with a big difficulty whereby they cannot see the wound to repair it because there is too much blood in the way.  This is a piece of cake for Park Hoon though who can feel around the opening to find the wound area rapidly (Me: Remember this is a drama ^^'' it's all fiction...anyway the background ost at that moment is pretty nice; i'll have to look for it)

Park Hoon saves the situation right after finding the wound area and preventing more blood loss.
The operation is completed successfully but the team feels depressed because they know they will get in trouble after this surgery.

The director tells Han Jae Joon that he has to leave since he has chosen to disobey his orders.  Han Jae Joon meets the patient's relatives and tells them that the surgery went well and that if they decide to undertake the lawsuit, he can contact him if they need his help.  (Me: Personally I think that proceeding with the lawsuit is the best way to get revenge on Myung Woo hospital.)

Park Hoon tells the patient's relatives that she will be fine and that it's thanks to the real doctors like Dr Oh. Hearing Park Hoon calling her Dr Oh, Soo Hyun feels really happy and asks him whether he considers her as a real doctor now.  But Park Hoon teases her saying that he made a mistake and that she worries too much that's why she is suffering from hair loss.  Soo Hyun tells him to worry about his own hair because patients prefer a trim looking doctor rather than a doctor with a messy perm.

Park Hoon sides with Han Jae Joon this time and even asks Soo Hyun to talk to her father so that Han Jae Joon doesn't get fired.

Han Jae Joon tells Soo Hyun that he is returning to USA since he has to leave Myung Woo.  He also asks Soo Hyun to come with him.  But Soo Hyun feels nervous hearing his request and tells him that she'll do everything to convince her father for him to stay.  (Me: I think Soo Hyun does not want to be with Han Jae Joon because she likes Park Hoon already)

Lol Park Hoon heads back home with a new haircut ^^ Looks like he really listened to Soo Hyun's advice to cut his hair.
Jae Hee is waiting for him near the house to ask him why he did the surgery.  Park Hoon replies that he will answer later and asks her to leave him alone for now.
(Me: Hum looks like Park Hoon is growing tired of Jae Hee and I think he does realize that the Jae Hee he loved would not have been asking him why he did a surgery to save a life.)
Effectively, Park Hoon is angry because Jae Hee was asking him to ignore a potentially dying patient.
Jae Hee retorts back that there were other doctors in that operation room.
But Park Hoon finally realizes that Jae Hee is wrong and tells her that the boy's mom was dying and they were asking for help in the operation room. 'How could I do nothing?'

I think Lee Jong Suk did a great job at acting this part :)

The scene is kind of touching as Park Hoon says with teary eyes to Jae Hee: ''Don't do this to me.  I get really confused every time you act like this...To be honest, I was really embarrassed the first time I met you here.  I did a lot of horrible things while you weren't with me.  But I tried to be strong.  Now that I've found you, now that I've found my dream, I thought that I could go back to the day when I first made you that bracelet (Me: that along ago!! O_O).  But Jae Hee, how can you do this to me? How can you tell me to ignore a dying patient?
(Me: Yes that's exactly what I thought.  Finally Park Hoon realizes that the Jae Hee he loves is in reality not how he thought her to be...)
Jae Hee leaves without a word.  She is also affected by Park Hoon's words.  Cha Jin Soo arrives with his loaded gun, prepared to kill Park Hoon but Jae Hee tells him to stop and swiftly takes the gun away from him and starts shooting near his head to threaten him to stop going after Park Hoon (She is much stronger than she looks and she can sure defend herself very well)
Jae Hee tells him to give Park Hoon more time, because they can afford to give him more time...

On Soo Hyun's side, she succeeds in making a deal with her father.  If she can persuade the patient's relatives not to sue Myung Woo hospital then the director will not fire the whole surgeon team.
Soo Hyun goes looking for Park Hoon to help her on this mission.
After discussing with Park Hoon, he agrees to help Soo Hyun.

Both Soo Hyun and Park Hoon go to speak to the patient's husband, but the latter refuses to drop the lawsuit because he did not receive any apology for the mistakes that the internal medicine doctors made.
Hence, Park Hoon have to seek the internal medicine doctors to make them apologize to the patient and her relatives.  But the latter refuse to apologize

Park Hoon decides to find the student-doctor who caused the accident surgery to threaten the internal medicine doctors.  However to find the student-doctor, Park Hoon seeks the mafia's help but Soo Hyun has to hand out the money to pay them.
As Soo Hyun and Park Hoon bring back the student-doctor, the other internal medicine doctors finally decide to apologize for their mistake to the patient's relatives.
The patient's family decide to let go of the lawsuit.  I hope that the surgeons including Han Jae Joon won't get fired now.

Later Park Hoon finds a teddy bear on the floor. As he picks it up he finds a woman approaching him, calling for her son.  The woman takes the teddy bear from Hoon and calls it her son.  That woman is actually Hoon's mother.  I can't believe it, Park Hoon doesn't recognize his mom's face....was he too young to remember his mom's face?
A nurse comes rushing to the woman telling her to return back to her room.

Anyway, there is a bad news for Myung Woo hospital as the Premier Jang Suk Joo has chosen another hospital to conduct his heart surgery.
The good news is that the director keeps his promise not to fire the thoracic surgeons team  however he still persists to fire Park Hoon.

Soo Hyun goes to see Park Hoon and tells him she is sorry.
Park Hoon gathers his belongings before leaving Myung Woo and tells Soo Hyun that if she continues working hard, she will become a good doctor one day.
Soo Hyun tells Park Hoon that she will try to convince her father to hire him back but Park Hoon tells her it is useless because her father knows who he is (i.e. Park Cheol's son).

Soo Hyun follows Park Hoon to give him his doctor's coat just in case he might return one day but Park Hoon takes the coat and throws it in nearby bin (meaning that he does not plan to come back)
Still Soo Hyun secretly keeps the coat with her (I think she wants Park Hoon to return back that's why...)
Aaawww Soo Hyun keeps on thinking about Park Hoon and even starts tearing up because she misses him so much ^^ I think she has truly fallen  in love with him :)
Lol Soo Hyun even rushes to Han Jae Joon to hug him so that she can forget about Park Hoon but to no avail.

The director meets the Premier Jang Suk Joo to clarify why he chose Jae Il hospital instead of Myung Woo.  Jang Suk Joo gives him a parcel and tells him this will give him the answer and also not to worry because their plan will succeed.(Me: I wonder what plan they are talking about...)

Han Jae Joon visits Park Hoon at his hospital to get to know him better (I think that those two are starting to become friends ^^)

Oh Soo Hyun on her side cooked too much curry and uses this excuse to go see Park Hoon to share some curry with him.  Park Hoon and Han Jae Joon went out for a drink. Soo Hyun calls Park Hoon's phone just when Hoon has gone to the washroom.  Han Jae Joon sees Soo Hyun's call and picks up the call.  Thinking that it is Park Hoon, Soo Hyun tells him to come over to eat curry, and that she has something to tell him (Me:  maybe she wants to confess to him ^^)
Han Jae Joon tells Soo Hyun that he will tell Park Hoon to call her back when he returns.

Han Jae Joon asks Park Hoon what he thinks of Soo Hyun.  Park Hoon tells him that at first he thought the only thing she could do was hit him hard but afterwards he realized that she is hard working and he finds it cute that she becoming a real doctor ^^  Also that Soo Hyun reminds him of Jae Hee sometimes...
Han Jae Joon asks him is Soo Hyun looks like Jae Hee
But Park Hoon replies that they don't look alike but he would have liked that Jae Hee was more like Soo Hyun as a doctor.
Then Han Jae Joon asks Park Hoon: how he finds Soo Hyun as a woman.
Park Hoon laughs because of the sudden question and asks Han Jae Joon if he thinks that he has a crush on the quack (Oh Soo Hyun).
Han Jae Joon replies that it could be the other way round.
Even at Soo Hyun & Jae Hee's apartment, Park Hoon still finds it a funny idea and laughs while telling Soo Hyun that Han Jae Joon thought that she might have a crush on him.
Soo Hyun denies it by telling Park Hoon: 'You think you're funny?'
Park Hoon tells Soo Hyun that there is no way he could like her because she is mean, violent and spoiled...
Soo Hyun gets mad and tells him that she only felt sorry for him that he was fired from the hospital.
Soo Hyun leaves the room fuming and Han Jae Joon follows her to calm her down.
Thus leaving Park Hoon and Jae Hee alone in the living room.

Park Hoon asks Jae Hee how did she know that he likes curry, but Jae Hee tells her that she has been wondering how Soo Hyun knew that he liked curry.
Han Jae Joon asks Soo Hyun whether she likes Park Hoon because she is being too sensitive.
Soo Hyun asks him to leave her alone for a few minutes to calm down.
Soo Hyun gets mad and angry on her own, calling Park Hoon a jerk.

Han Jae Joon returns to the living room and asks Park Hoon his father's name.  To satisfy him, Park Hoon tells him it's Park Cheol.  Han Jae Joon looks surprised by hearing the name Park Cheol.

Premier Jang Suk Joo is scheming something as Mr Kim tells Jae Hee that they are planning to reveal Park Hoon's mother to him.

Han Jae Joon thinks back to his past when his mother and himself were waiting for Park Cheol to come to court to proceed as witness to their lawsuit against Myung Woo.  Park Cheol did not show up and when they went to his house to look for him, he was not there and that's when Han Jae Joon's mother collapsed from a heart failure.  (Me: That's bad...I think Han Jae Joon is going to hate Park Hoon because his father did not stand as witness and caused his mother to fall ill...  But he doesn't know yet that Hoon's father was just a victim of Jang Suk Joo's treachery...)

Park Hoon can't sleep because he keeps thinking of the woman with the teddy bear who is waiting for her son.  Park Hoon decides to go visit his old house to look for his mother's phone number.  He dials the number and a woman answers the call asking if it is Hoon.

The episode ends with Hoon replying: 'yes it is Hoon'
